Building a community from the first member
At GDG on Campus MUST, the work started before the first event: recruiting members, shaping the team, and drafting our initial bylaws. Organizing that first event turned a group of students into a team.

When prediction is not the answer
My NBA player-data study began with a predictive question: can individual statistics explain on-court point differential? I compared linear regression, XGBoost, and CatBoost. The best reported R² was approximately 0.14.
