01A learning workflow, end to end
The thesis brings together exam authoring, digital practice tests, automatic scoring, progress tracking, and Mongolian-language feedback. Students, teachers, administrators, and school managers have distinct workflows.
02Making mathematics editable
MathLive supports mathematical input and LaTeX conversion. A Pix2Tex / LaTeX OCR module processes PDF examination material so that teachers can reuse questions rather than retype them. Next.js provides the interface, FastAPI serves the backend, and PostgreSQL stores structured records.
03Adapting a model for Mongolian feedback
The thesis compares Gemma3-4B and Qwen3-4B after fine-tuning. Qwen3-4B was selected based on the reported training-loss comparison. LoRA and Unsloth supported adaptation within limited GPU resources, followed by mathematics-oriented fine-tuning.
04What the work demonstrates — and what comes next
The result is an integrated exam-preparation system. Training loss is not a measure of educational effectiveness; student learning gains are not claimed here. Future work includes more detailed feedback, evaluation with learners, and expansion to other subjects.
